The performance of our organizations depends primarily on human skills and team interactions. We consider it essential to contribute to this effort to develop skills, and we do so by combining formal, experiential, and social learning.
Formal Learning with Agile, DevOps Foundation, and DevOps Leader Courses
As a partner of Ahead Technology, we are accredited to deliver PeopleCert (formerly DevOps Institute) DevOps certification courses and scrum.org agile courses. As of January 2026, we have already trained nearly 400 people in DevOps and agility since SD ReFocus was founded.
We also organized and conducted an on-line webinar on Value Stream Management (VSM) for the “Café Agile en ligne” which can be viewed here on LinkedIn.

Experiential Learning with Hands-on Workshops
Learning fundamental theories is crucial, but proves more effective when supplemented by learning through experience.
This is what we were able to achieve in 2025, for example, in collaboration with Miguel Dias during hands-on Value Stream Mapping workshops, either in person or online.
Social Learning with Coaching, Mentoring, and Communities of Practice
Learning from others is also an important lever for skills development. We can integrate coaching or mentoring activities into our services, and also help you to set up Communities of Practice based on our experience in this area (a DevOps community of practice in our case).
Our experience in this area is particularly useful in helping to develop the VSM Consortium (now Flowtopia) community and in sharing knowledge and experience through our monthly Value-Driven newsletter.
